what it costs
Three packages, quoted for your folder — not a menu.
Every package is a fixed fee, quoted in writing after the free application review, with no hourly billing. The quote fits the folder as it actually stands — which pockets are full, which are empty, which letter is still out — which is why no figure is printed here. The three packages are below, most complete last.
We quote price after reading the folder. There are three packages — Determination & Plan, The Complete Folder, and Full Handover, the premium — each a fixed fee quoted in writing after the free application review, with no hourly billing. Full Handover takes the entire Herzing IRB process off your desk: every pocket, the submission itself, and every reply to the board until approval.
Determination & Plan
The honest category call, and the plan the application will quote.
- your design read against QI and research, with the call made plainly and in writing
- the review path it points to — not human-subjects research, exempt, expedited or full board — and why
- the plan written so every form answer can quote it, word for word and number for number
- where Herzing's current IRB handbook or portal names a form or prerequisite, the plan names it too
- the pocket to start today, named — and the order the rest should be filled in
Who chooses it: people who will build the folder themselves from the seven pockets and want the determination and the words settled first. Read the tab in full on how it works.

Start with the free reviewThe Complete Folder
Every pocket built, version-matched, ready to file.
- everything in Determination & Plan
- the application form, quoting the plan
- consent forms and recruitment materials, version-matched, every required element, at the signers' reading level
- instruments and interview guides, every question exactly as it will be asked
- the data-security plan with a name on every blank — storage, access, de-identification, destruction date
- the site permission letter drafted for the site's letterhead and an authorised signatory's hand, naming the data
- CITI guidance for everyone named: course, modules, currency, the certificates placed in the folder
- all three consultants read the whole folder before it is handed back
Who chooses it: people who want the folder built and will file it themselves through Herzing's current portal, and carry the board's replies on their own. See tab three.

Start with the free reviewFull Handover
most chosen — the premiumThe whole process, end to end: every pocket, the filing, and every reply until approval.
- everything in The Complete Folder
- the submission itself, filed through the portal, every version recorded
- every reply to the board answered: revision responses point by point in the board's own vocabulary, each document re-filed version-matched
- amendments drafted when the project changes after approval; continuing-review materials when the board's calendar asks
- carried until the approval is in your hands — the project, the data and the findings stay yours throughout
Who chooses it: most people. The folder, the filing and the replies leave your desk entirely, and you get your practicum hours back for the project. See tab four.

Start with the free reviewHow the quote is written
In order, because the order is the point: nothing is priced until the folder has been read.
- You tell us where the folder stands through the contact form: email, phone, the stage the project is at, and any note about which pocket is giving you trouble. Attachments are not needed at this step; we ask for documents by email if the reading needs them.
- We read the folder, free. The free application review comes back in writing: which pockets would survive a pass today, which would not and why, the likely review path, and the pocket to start on first. If the folder is ready to file as it is, the review says so and there is nothing to quote.
- The quote follows the reading. One written quote per package that fits — usually two of the three, sometimes all three — each a fixed fee for the work the folder actually needs. The premium is always Full Handover; the price of each reflects how many pockets are already real.
- You choose, or you don't. The quote holds for the season it was written in. Choose a package and the work begins with the pocket named in the review; decline and the free reading is yours to keep.
- The fee is fixed. No hourly billing, no per-revision charges inside the package you chose, no surprise line when the board replies. If the scope genuinely changes — a second site joins, the design itself changes after the determination — we say so in writing before anything else is done.
Short questions about the fee
The ones that come with the quote request. Everything else is on the FAQ page.
Why is there no price on the page?
Because the quote is written for the folder in front of us, not for a menu. Two folders that both want Full Handover can need very different amounts of work — one arrives with a signed site letter and approved instruments, the other arrives empty — and a single printed figure would be wrong for one of them.
The free application review is what makes the quote honest: it is read first, and priced second.
Does the free review commit me to anything?
No. The reading stands alone, and many people take it and file themselves. It is the entry to the service, not a condition of it.
Is anything billed by the hour, or per revision?
No. Each package is one fixed fee for the work it describes, and the board's replies inside Full Handover are part of that fee, not extras. If the scope changes in a way that was not in the quote, we put that in writing before doing anything further.
Can I start with a smaller package and hand over the rest later?
Yes. Determination & Plan becomes The Complete Folder, and The Complete Folder becomes Full Handover, and what was already paid for is not charged again — the later quote covers the remaining tabs only.
What do I keep after the work is done?
Everything: every document in every version, the determination in writing, the plan, the filed submission and every reply. The project, the data and the findings were always yours; the folder is yours too. The board's decision remains its own, and nothing in any package promises an outcome.
