What this site collects, and why.
herzingirb.com collects only what you type into it — the contact form, the seasonal offer, the filing note and the desk chat — and uses it to reply to you about your IRB folder. There are no advertising scripts, no third-party trackers, and your details are not sold or shared for marketing. This page says exactly what is collected, where it goes, and how to have it removed.

Who runs this site
herzingirb.com is operated by an independent consultation practice that handles the IRB process for professionals in Herzing University programs. The practice is not affiliated with Herzing University or its Institutional Review Board. You can reach the practice at hello@herzingirb.com or through the contact page.
What is collected, and when
The contact form and the free application review
Your name (optional), email address, phone number, the stage your project is at, and any note you write. This is sent to the practice's lead-handling system so a consultant can reply with the free application review. If the reading needs documents, you send them by email afterwards and they are held with your file.
The seasonal offer
Your name (optional), email address and phone number, plus the season the offer was shown in. It is sent to the same system and used to reply with the review and honour the offer.
The filing note (newsletter)
Your email address and the page you subscribed from. It is used for one email when something in the Herzing IRB process changes, and nothing else. Unsubscribing is one reply. See the filing note page.
The desk chat
The messages you type, and a session reference stored in your browser's session storage so the conversation continues while the tab is open. Chat messages go to the practice's live-chat system and are read by the consultant at the desk.
Where it goes
Form, offer, filing-note and chat submissions are transmitted to the practice's own lead-handling and live-chat system (hosted infrastructure operated for the practice), where consultants read and reply to them. The site itself is static: it stores no database of its own, and it sets no tracking cookies.
What the site stores in your browser
Three small session-storage values, all cleared when you close the tab: whether the seasonal offer has already been shown, whether the chat nudge has already appeared, and the chat session reference. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no cross-site cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; that request carries the ordinary information any web request does, and is governed by Google's own privacy terms.
What it is used for, and what it is not
- Used for: replying to you about your IRB folder, writing a quote if you ask for one, carrying the work you engage the practice for, and — only if you subscribed — the filing note.
- Not used for: advertising, profiling, or sale or rental of your details to anyone. Your email address is never added to the filing note because you used the contact form.
Documents you send about your project
Plans, consent drafts, instruments, letters from the board and other project documents you send by email are held with your file for the work and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case the board replies or you return with an amendment. They are not shared with anyone outside the practice, and they are never used as examples without your written permission. The project, the data and the findings remain yours.
Keeping and removing your details
Details are kept for as long as the practice is in contact with you about a folder and for a reasonable period afterwards. To have your details corrected or removed, or to ask what the practice holds about you, write to hello@herzingirb.com from the address you used; removal requests are actioned on request except where a record must be kept for a completed engagement.
Changes to this notice
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Subscribers to the filing note are told when the change is material.
